Shontaye conquered her fear and ran a half marathon. Her lesson to you - You are not alone. Whatever race you are running, there are thousands of other people out there running the same race.

"If someone else has done it, it must be doable." Thus, you can do it too. You just have to figure out the steps and create a plan to follow the steps. As a beginner runner, Shontaye figured out the steps and created a plan; she got the running schedules for beginners, got the running shoes, got the trainer. The same method can go to someone starting a business. Figure out the tools and then go do it; stop getting ready and just start.

It might appear to be impossible, but you create possible out of it.

Running a business is a marathon not a quick sprint. You stay in the game; you keep making the sales calls. Just like running a marathon, business success doesn't happen overnight. You keep at it, and then you achieve the success you want.

You have to keep showing up: doing the speaking engagements, doing the sales calls - even if you are afraid. It is the same with a marathon. You just have to keep at it, keep showing up and then you win. The on-going commitment is what matters. Plant the seeds as you don't know which one is going to pop.
What does BRAVERY mean?

Bravery is willing to be uncomfortable. If you are going to go out there, you can't be concerned with what other people are going to say. It will keep you from growing your business.

Odette helps entrepreneurs achieve their lifetime dreams through the vehicle of entrepreneurship. But it hasn’t always been easy. In her first year as a business coach, Odette lost her love relationship, both her parents passed away and she woke up one morning paralyzed in her arms. She couldn’t move them properly for more than a year.

Show Highlights

What do you want? If you don’t know how to answer, start with what do you NOT want and go from there – it will motivate you to go in the opposite direction until you get your answer.

Everything we have in this world today is because someone took a chance. We need to keep moving until we succeed. Get clear on what you need and stay on course.

The more we are willing to be the student – then the more we can teach in a much more powerful way. You need to have mentorship and support when having a business.

People have this idea, you just conquer fear and on the other side is heaven. But when you conquer your fear there is another level of fear. You are constantly conquering your fears – which are good as that’s the only way you grow. You don’t get over your fear as if you did you would stop trying.

You need to clean the emotional past closet. Clean the clutter, dig deep and face the past junk. Move past the feelings as opposed to moving around them. People don’t want to feel fear and they do everything to avoid it. Instead we need to go through it and get it out of our system.

What does BRAVERY mean?

Bravery is when you know what you want and you are willing to sacrifice whatever you need to sacrifice to get it and are willing to step into it.

Show Highlights

Your brain is like a computer and it can be programmed to get more entrepreneurial success.

A mind can be reprogrammed. Your mind has code loops in the thoughts you tell yourself and your mind is the operating system of your life. Your success is dependent on what you tell yourself. Mind Hacking is being aware of the thoughts that are negative and reprogramming the negative with positive loops that will lead you to build a successful business.

There are all kinds of hacks (tips and tricks) we can use to turn our mind from being our worst enemy into our best friend. Mind Hacking is a user manual for the mind.

What does BRAVERY mean?

Bravery is not the absence of fear. Brave is the ability to move out in spite of fear. You have moments in business that are terror, but you know you need to do it; you build the courage muscle.

Nancy Rae’s early life was scattered with grooming events. As a result of her tenacity and introspection these experiences shaped her into a powerful force for good. Nancy Rae is an expert in re-framing tragic life experiences into magnificent gifts for transformation.

Show Highlights – Nancy’s advice to you

Lack of confidence and not fear is what holds us back.

If everybody agrees with what you are doing, you must be doing something wrong. You cannot please everybody and you have to be unique. You have to show up, stand up and go above the need to be liked.

It’s not that more successful people are braver than everyone else; it’s that they are braver more than everyone else for 8 seconds more in a day. The 2 seconds to dial the phone, the 2 seconds to step onto the platform. That’s the bravery you need.

Bravery is full accountability and ownership. Take a look inside you and ask yourself what part did I play?
