- Book the gig first and prepare next. Generate the deadline and this way you have the goal with the finish line. When you get a speaking opportunity it does not happen that fast as the gig that you booked will usually take place two to six months in the future (giving you plenty of time to rehearse).
- Preparation is not about being 100% prepared. Having to be 100% prepared can lead to procrastination and this delay is a detriment of the movement for things happening for you. Just get it done.
- YES Energy. Say YES and commit and then go figure it out. It moves things in your favor and aligns things for you. Once you make the decision, you will commit and do the action.
